The Dune park project, located in the foreport of Corsini port, represents a green infrastructure with which to reconfigure a vast "dune" system acting as a link between the new cruise terminal and the urban fabric, extending to adjacent natural areas, utilizing the existing forms of the morphology and landscape, de-sealing asphalted areas, and creating treed spaces.

The call for proposals
The project is one of the 20 Operations of Strategic Importance - Europe 27 Projects, funded by the call for proposals Design and construction of blue-green infrastructures in urban and peri-urban areas, with resources from the ERDF Regional Program 2021-2027, in implementation of Priority 2 - Sustainability, decarbonization, biodiversity and resilience, Specific Objective 2.7 - Strengthen nature protection and conservation, biodiversity and green infrastructure, including the one in urban areas, and reduce all forms of pollution, Action 2.7.1.
