Strengthening ecological networks and urban drainage, Ponticella locality - Park Gate
The project creates a network of interventions in the Ponticella locality aimed at connecting the fluvial habitat, that of the Gessi Bolognesi Regional Park, and these with the urban context. The interventions mainly consist of soil desegregation; planting and management of trees and shrubs; requalification and expansion of existing public, urban, and school green spaces; promotion and enhancement of pedestrian and hiking paths.

The call for proposals
The project is one of the 20 Operations of Strategic Importance - Europe 27 Projects, funded by the call for proposals Design and construction of blue-green infrastructures in urban and peri-urban areas, with resources from the ERDF Regional Program 2021-2027, in implementation of Priority 2 - Sustainability, decarbonization, biodiversity and resilience, Specific Objective 2.7 - Strengthen nature protection and conservation, biodiversity and green infrastructure, including the one in urban areas, and reduce all forms of pollution, Action 2.7.1.
