Municipality of Argenta blue-Green infrastructure: the Giardino Primaro project

The Giardino Primaro project, in the paleo-riverbed of the Po (Padus Primarius), transforms a nodal area of vehicular transit in the city of Argenta into a hybrid garden, re-stitching relationships between the urban fabric and the freshwater system of this territory (UNESCO MAB Area and UNESCO Heritage). The intervention area includes the historic garden between Via A. Gramsci and Via G. Matteotti, the open areas of IC G. Bassani, and a section of Via G. Matteotti.
