Music Park and Park along the walls
Creation of a new urban ecosystem through the realization of an ecological-environmental connection corridor between historic city and countryside
The project foresees the creation of the Park along the walls and the Music Park, interconnected by an ecological path along Via Circondaria and in Piazzale 2 Agosto. It plans the planting of trees and shrubs, the reduction of impermeable areas with the creation of new flowerbeds, and the transformation of existing parking lots into green draining parking lots.

The call for proposals
The project is one of the 20 Operations of Strategic Importance - Europe 27 Projects, funded by the call for proposals Design and construction of blue-green infrastructures in urban and peri-urban areas, with resources from the ERDF Regional Program 2021-2027, in implementation of Priority 2 - Sustainability, decarbonization, biodiversity and resilience, Specific Objective 2.7 - Strengthen nature protection and conservation, biodiversity and green infrastructure, including the one in urban areas, and reduce all forms of pollution, Action 2.7.1.
