Badia equipped urban park
The Badia park is a new green lung that connects the historic centre of Bertinoro to the natural system of the Montemaggio area and the Cantina Guarini. With its rain gardens, it integrates the Badia fountain, the Guazzaduro spring, and the Badia Vecchia cave, thereby achieving a cultural enhancement of the territory.

The call for proposals
The project is one of the 20 Operations of Strategic Importance - Europe 27 Projects, funded by the call for proposals Design and construction of blue-green infrastructures in urban and peri-urban areas, with resources from the ERDF Regional Program 2021-2027, in implementation of Priority 2 - Sustainability, decarbonization, biodiversity and resilience, Specific Objective 2.7 - Strengthen nature protection and conservation, biodiversity and green infrastructure, including the one in urban areas, and reduce all forms of pollution, Action 2.7.1.
