Project for the regeneration of the waterfront
The Igea Marina waterfront regeneration project aims to give a new image to the seafront through the introduction of a new green path that runs alongside it, equipped with rain gardens and a cycling and pedestrian track, accompanying it along the way to the canal port at the mouth of the Uso river.

The call for proposals
The project is one of the 20 Operations of Strategic Importance - Europe 27 Projects, funded by the call for proposals Design and construction of blue-green infrastructures in urban and peri-urban areas, with resources from the ERDF Regional Program 2021-2027, in implementation of Priority 2 - Sustainability, decarbonization, biodiversity and resilience, Specific Objective 2.7 - Strengthen nature protection and conservation, biodiversity and green infrastructure, including the one in urban areas, and reduce all forms of pollution, Action 2.7.1.
