Strengthening of the Technopole to support businesses in the biotech and biomedical sector
Inaugurated in 2015, the Mirandola Technopole - TPM specializes in the field of innovative and applied research for companies in the biomedical district and for research centers at a regional, national, and European level, focusing on the study and analysis of polymeric and organic materials and 3D platforms capable of replicating the characteristics of human tissues. To strengthen and consolidate Tpm's position within the research ecosystem, the project aims to:
- enhance and develop innovative research activities with the purchase of cutting-edge equipment;
- refurbish common areas and laboratories to improve the facility.
The project aims to increase investments in research and development capable of attracting talent, new skills, and confirming the national and international role of the regional health sector.

The call for proposals
The project is one of the 15 Operations of Strategic Importance - Europe 27 Projects, financed by the call for proposals for the development of the structures of the Emilia-Romagna Technopole with ERDF Regional Programme 2021-2027 resources, with the aim of implementing several actions of the Programme:
- Priority 1 - Research, innovation, competitiveness, Specific Objective 1.1 - Develop and strengthen research and innovation capabilities and improve the entry of advanced technologies, Action 1.1.4
- Priority 2 - Sustainability, decarbonisation, biodiversity, resilience
