Demopolo AGRO-ICT - Enhancement of the Cesena site of the Forlì-Cesena Technopole for the strengthening of demonstrators aimed at promoting innovation in the sustainable agri-food industry and digital transition

The Forlì-Cesena Technopole, Cesena site, hosts two Interdepartmental Centres for Industrial Research : CIRI Agrofood - and Information and Communication Technologies - CIRI ICT. Both are characterized by research units organized to transfer innovation towards Industry 4.0 to companies. The enhancement of the Technopole aims to ensure the optimization of spaces and their efficiency, increasing the operability of researchers and staff and guaranteeing an improvement in the service offered.

The project's infrastructural investment foresees expansion, reorganization, and redefinition works of some areas. These works will allow for a better subdivision of spaces, increasing the efficiency of the research center and improving its logistics and internal organization. Furthermore, new equipment will be purchased, which will lead to an improvement of services, in order to better respond to the needs of the territory and the production sector, with a particular focus on the sustainability and competitiveness of regional enterprises.

The project is one of the 15 Operations of Strategic Importance - Europe 27 Projects, financed by the call for proposals for the development of the structures of the Emilia-Romagna Technopole with ERDF Regional Programme 2021-2027 resources, with the aim of implementing several actions of the Programme:
