High-Tech Lab for responsible research and innovation serving "incurable" diseases

The project, promoted by IRET Foundation, the managing body of the Bologna Technopole, Ozzano dell'Emilia Rita Levi-Montalcini site, involves the creation of a new infrastructure and the purchase of scientific equipment. The intervention enhances laboratory spaces and equips the structure with a new area to host meetings, seminars, and conferences. The implementation of a series of tools for automated data analysis on animals and the monitoring of their health status is foreseen, in order to reduce the number of animals to be included in experimentation. The project aims to power the new space 100% with renewable sources, with the objective of total compensation of carbon dioxide and greenhouse gas emissions, also through the planting of the free area and the creation of a green zone.
