Infrastructural strengthening of the Bologna CNR Technopole

The project, carried out online between Mister Smart Innovation, the managing entity, the National Research Council - CNR, and Proambiente, with the aim of enhancing research-business collaboration, foresees a strengthening of the technological offer, and the valorization of areas dedicated to innovation and the operations of the Technopole. The infrastructural strengthening of the CNR Research Area aims to respond to the needs of local businesses and the community and allow for an increase in employment in the structure's laboratories.

In the Technopole building, the following interventions are planned:

  • two new spaces dedicated to management and reception activities and to laboratory, training, and public engagement activities with the use of innovative audio-video technologies;
  • multifunctional laboratory on anthropogenic impacts.

The existing spaces called "Officine comuni" (Common Workshops) will be redeveloped to create laboratories dedicated to industrial research activities and the development of infrastructures for prototype development and process upscaling.
