Innovative machinery for cutting fabric, designed by the company Bierrebi Italia in Sasso Marconi (BO) and described in one of the winning videos of the Io investo QUI 2018 competition in the category of “Mechatronics and Engine Manufacturing”
The project
Crystal SH 070 is the name of the machine composed of a special glass cutting table to reduce wear, which requires no aspiration and uses an innovative double-blade system for a perfect cut.
Objectives
Research and development of new technological solutions to optimize the phases of fabric cutting, allowing a maximum qualitative standard to be maintained and enhancing human labour.
Results
Thanks to European funding, mechanical and electronics research have given rise to a machine that not only improves production, reducing energy consumption, but also enhances human labor, guaranteeing a quiet, comfortable working environment.
