The Priority aims to increase the capacity of public affordable, sustainable and social housing for the most vulnerable segments of the population through incentives for the regeneration and renovation of the affordable and sustainable existing housing stock and to combat energy poverty in Public Residential Housing - ERP and Social Residential Housing - ERS

The intervention is part of a regional and european strategy designed to face the demand-side pressures of disadvantaged groups and low-income and middle-income families struggling with significant increase in prices and rents in recent years, difficulties in accessing housing and a growing risk of homelessness.

In particular, the planned interventions aim to:

  • recover and regenerate, including through energy-efficiency improvements, public ERP buildings that are currently unused due to lack of sufficient resources to make them habitable, as well as additional publicly owned housing units. The renovated dwellings will be allocated for rent at controlled rates to workers and low-income and middle-income households selected through a regional call;
  • regenerate public ERP buildings to combat energy poverty among the most vulnerable groups.

Specific objectives
