Esther's story
Esther holds a degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies and is currently pursuing a PhD in Medical, Omics, and Oncological Sciences. She works as a researcher at the Signal Transduction Lab, part of the LTTA at the Ferrara Tecnopolo, one of the most prominent innovation centers in the Emilia-Romagna region.
Technopoles provide concrete answers to the needs of businesses. Through their expertise, equipment, and resources, they support companies in developing new ideas and solutions to innovate products and processes. In collaboration with Clust-ER associations, High Technology Network laboratories, universities, research centers, and local authorities, they contribute to the economic and sustainable development of the region.
With European Funds, Emilia-Romagna Region supports a revival capable of combining quality of work, increased productivity, technological, environmental and social innovation, attractiveness and international openness. Thus, it helps the regional system on its path towards green transition and digital transformation, helping to reduce economic, social, gender, generational and territorial inequalities.
The European Regional Development Fund supports Technopoles and the innovation system by enhancing research, analysis, and experimentation activities serving businesses and public bodies.
An unprecedented investment for people, businesses, and territories: over 2 billion euros of European Funds to support economic growth, digital transition, employment, enterprises, environment and sustainable development.
The Emilia-Romagna Region defines the use and allocation of these resources through the ERDF and the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) Regional Programmes, whose priorities are developed in full integration.
