Andrea's story
Andrea is taking part in the Magnifici incontri (Magnificent Encounters) project, promoted by the Enaip Foundation of Forlì-Cesena in collaboration with the Malatestiana Library. The project views literacy education, the use of public spaces, and an interest in world events as a means to develop autonomy, self-esteem, and self-fulfillment—skills that are fundamental for individuals with special needs attending socio-occupational centers.
The project takes place at the Malatestiana Library in Cesena, one of the art spaces renovated and expanded through European Funds. Through these interventions, the Region has enhanced cultural heritage as a driver for the development of the territory and its communities, with the goal of making culture a central element for the region's competitiveness and attractiveness.
The Region supports social innovation projects, a step toward an economic vision aimed at mending the social fabric. The goals are to enhance well-being and reduce inequalities, while generating inclusion systems that are increasingly effective in meeting citizens' needs and efficient in resource management.
With European Funds, Emilia-Romagna Region supports a revival capable of combining quality of work, increased productivity, technological, environmental and social innovation, attractiveness and international openness.
