Sustainable mobility and air quality

Improving air quality in the Po Valley Basin is a priority objective for the Emilia-Romagna Region, strengthening the support to the measures already planned and currently financed with regional and national resources. The Programme will focus on promoting the use of soft mobility, in particular pedestrian and bicycle mobility. Moreover, it foresees the construction of equipped and interconnected bicycle paths, the diffusion of smart mobility systems and the installation of electric car charging stations.

• 2.8 Promoting sustainable multimodal urban mobility as part of the transition to a carbon-neutral economy

Funds 

A total of 40 million euros is available, as in 4% of 2021-2027 ERDF Regional Programme financial allocation.
